Why Is Argon Gas Used in Windows?

Argon is an inert gas that is used as an insulating agent. It is filled between the two panes of glass to reduce the heat loss to the outside environment. Argon is heavier than air and provides your windows with an increased R-value. Argon insulation improves the U-value in a home by 10% or more. It also helps in soundproofing properties. Argon is inexpensive, non-toxic, and odourless, and is therefore popularly used as an insulating agent.

How to Prepare for the Windows or Doors Installation?

Clear the way: It would be best if you moved everything that is around your windows or doors. Any furniture or outside decoration needs to be moved so that our installers can access the respective windows or doors.

Take it down: Additionally, you will need to take down your blinds, sheers, and curtains, and any remaining brackets mounted to the old windows or doors.

Cover it up: We will try our best to be neat. However, you can ensure that your house stays clean by putting down a drop cloth yourself over anything that might get dirty.
